MANUSCRIPT SUBMISSION PROCEDURES


Submission Information for Authors

Authors are invited to submit original research papers, case studies, reviews, work in progress reports, abstracts, students’ papers or research proposals within the broad scope of the Journal. The following guidelines must be adhered to when submitting the papers: No Manuscript will be accepted without the Required Format.  All Manuscripts Should Be Professionally Proofread Before The Submission.
 
Submission
1.
Papers should be submitted to the Editor-in-chief electronically through the online system as e-mail attachment to editor@jbrmr.com
2.
If electronic media is not available, the original paper may be submitted on standard CD to the Editor by using full postal address which is, The Academy of Business & Retail Management Research, Brent House, 214 Kenton Road, Harrow, Middlesex HA3 8BT.
3. Papers are to be submitted as MS Word documents for Windows.
4.
The font to be used is Book Antiqua.
5.
Major and secondary headings must be BOLD, left-justified and in lower case.
6.
The text font size is 12, Headings-16 and sub-headings-14.
7.
The body of the papers should be single spaced.
The front page of the manuscript must be organised as follows:
 
  » Title of the Article
  » Author (s) name (s) and their Organisation’s name
  » Key words
  » A brief abstract (maximum 250 words, font 12 and in italics)
  » Part of the Introduction (on the remaining space of the front page)
  Then followed by:
 
  » The rest of the introduction (continued onto the next page)
  » Main body of the paper
  » Discussions and conclusions
  » Research limitations and direction for further research
  » References
  » Appendices (if any)

Footnotes should not be used.
9.
The articles should preferably be limited to 12 pages in length. After which, £10 is charged for each extra page.
10.
Illustrations, graphs, tables and figures must be kept to the minimum. They should be numbered and inserted into the document in the preferred location. When preparing figures please ensure that they maintain the electronically reproducible format.
11.
Acknowledgement must be given to sources of material taken elsewhere using the Harvard style regardless of whether it is a direct quotation or expressed in the authors own words.
12.
All authors must sign an author’s consent form stating clearly that the paper is an original work and that it has not been submitted to any other publication previously in its present form.
